For STBMAN STBERNARD, that question is the creative foundation of a fictional universe built through music, characters, stories, and visuals. The project is not presented as a real-world biography or a finished film series. It is the founding project of O.M.V.M.’s original cinematic hip-hop universe, a world designed to grow one song, one voice, and one visual idea at a time.
O.M.V.M., or Oak Cliff’s Most Vicious MCs, is an independent group based in Oak Cliff, Dallas, Texas. Its three voices are STBMAN STBERNARD, QUEELA-BEELA, and GREAT DANE. Their tagline says it simply: “FROM OAK CLIFF TO THE WORLD.”
With The Standard Saga, that statement becomes more than a location. It becomes a direction.
The Standard Saga STBMAN Vision
THE STANDARD SAGA: VOL. 1 was released on January 31, 2026. The 18-track project is credited to STBMAN STBERNARD, QUEELA-BEELA, and GREAT DANE.
According to the official Bandcamp description, the project is “the foundation of a cinematic universe.” Each song connects to characters, stories, and visuals. That idea changes how the album can be heard.
The songs are not only individual performances. They are pieces of a larger creative language. A track can introduce a point of view, establish an emotional conflict, suggest a character’s role, or create the atmosphere for a future visual story. The album gives listeners the foundation, while leaving room for the universe to expand.

The tracklist makes those individual identities visible through titles such as “Queen Standard” and “Untouchable Talk.” Together with “The New King Standard,” they form a creative triangle. Each MC carries a different energy, but all three exist inside the same expanding world.
From Songs to Cinematic Hip Hop
The phrase cinematic hip hop describes more than dramatic production or movie-style imagery. In the O.M.V.M. approach, it means treating music as part of a connected entertainment experience.
The Standard Saga includes songs that can be heard through several lenses. “Human Not Target” suggests questions of identity and perception. “Vote 2028” points toward civic and social themes. “We Still Rise (Black Texas Anthem)” connects the project to resilience, community, and Texas identity. “Choices & Echoes” suggests consequences, while “Blood Don’t Break” and “Kin or Convenience (Dark Cut)” introduce questions about loyalty and relationships.
